Awed Into Silence
It's that time
of day when the heavens play
with a mass of
colors bright,
as the sun
descends and the day now ends
for its merging
with the night.
It's a winner's
hand in a play that's grand
to the point of
being awed,
with the sky
unfurled in a wondrous world
that's the
handiwork of God.
And to witness
this is to bathe in bliss
in the hush upon
that shore,
till the stars
emerge and with such a surge
that you're
silenced even more.
Henotic
You strive for
peace and harmony -
A voice that
soothes and unifies -,
Each syllable a
symphony
A deafened world
would recognize.
Your life is
lived an open book,
In witness,
then, the outer world -
Invited, all, to
take a look,
The reaching
hand a flag unfurled.
As well revealed
the soul inside,
Upon your sleeve
the heart you bare -,
From out the
Source (to turn the tide)
Each thought you
think a precious prayer.
*Henotic: pertains to peace and harmony; unifying.
