The Journey That Remains
I no longer wish
to arrive anywhere —
destinations
taste too much like farewell.
I walk to hear
the voice of the wind,
I walk with a
naked soul,
between stones
and petals,
while life
hollows me out and fills me again,
like a river
that never ceases seeking its mouth.
Every wound is
only a passage for the light,
there is no pain
that does not cradle a seed,
no fall that
does not whisper of rebirth.
Life is not
arriving,
but releasing,
being and un-being like the tide,
until we finally
recognize ourselves.
The sea, an
ancient song,
a primal cradle,
a liquid womb
that shelters
and nourishes
our becoming
anew, in the journey that remains.
The Hourglass
As a girl, I
wore masks,
fragile, light,
afraid I
wouldn’t be enough.
But I took them
off long ago.
I chose my
voice,
even when it
trembled.
I opened the
drawer of dreams
while the world
still whispered “wait.”
I didn’t wait.
I don’t want
routine,
I want moments
of joy.
I want skin, not
filters.
Truth, not
scripts.
The hourglass
flows,
but I’m already
awake.
I no longer
chase the right moment:
I live it.
