Separation Becomes Suppression
Clouds have come
with rains
But not the one,
I am waiting for
Since long, in
vain,
With my regular
wet eyes,
Intermittent
sobs and cries,
Leaving me in
tears and pain,
Rushed to catch
a long-distance train,
Assuring me,
would return soon,
It was unwise to
decline the offer,
Coming in hard
times, as a boon,
He didn't want
to miss the opportunity,
I was afraid of
losing his proximity,
Innocently, I
believed his words,
Hiding my tears,
not to look absurd,
With a gentle
smile on my face,
At heat, I knew
it was fake,
Waived my hands,
trying to withstand,
All the
pressures, tension,
The pain of
unbearable separation!
I feel
completely broken,
Not a single
word, between us,
Since long, has
been spoken,
With feelings
suppressed
And dreams
shattered,
For how long can
I bear,
But, does it
matter?
Change Is Inevitable
Change is the
law, inevitable,
A continuous
process, not negotiable,
Day comes after
a night,
Night comes
after a day,
Better accept it
and prepare,
Denial would be
your dismay,
Seasons change,
and so the climate,
By flying far
away from their habitats,
Migratory birds
prove wiser,
Survival is the
aim, ultimate,
Time, a vehicle
of change,
Slow. unnoticed
or vehement,
Passes quickly,
offers opportunities,
Better seize and
act promptly,
Before you need
to repent.
