Woman In Rose Petals
So gentle, she
carries the scent of life,
each of her
petals
is the smile
upon her face.
Not everyone can
pick her,
just like a
rose,
a woman is the
reflection of a beautiful soul.
Irresistible is
her fragrance,
with which she
knows how to charm;
with her scent
she conquers all.
But if you wound
even one of her petals,
the thorns she
bears
will defend that
woman.
Tiny petals are
her garment,
each rose is a
woman.
And just as a
rose does not allow just anyone to touch it,
so a woman does
not easily surrender
the petals of
her life.
Do not let her
wither—protect her,
be careful,
defend her from
the foot that wishes to crush her,
for once she
stops breathing,
like a rose… she
no longer carries her scent.
I Love Life
I love life when
the sun is shining,
when its light
brings me each new day.
With gratitude I
open my eyes every morning,
and I wash
myself in love.
I love it even
when nothing flows smoothly,
when it strikes
with all its might,
when it wounds
my heart to exhaustion,
when it shows me
how heavy it can be.
I embrace every
challenge it places before me,
and I do not
give up, for that is who I am.
Let it set a
hundred challenges before me—
I will still
love it.
Life is only
one;
who am I to
trample it with weakness?
It cannot defeat
me—
only I can
defeat myself.
And that I do
not allow, no,
for I know each
day is worth more than gold.
That is why I
live life to the fullest,
and I do not let
my strength fade.
I am here for a
reason;
I have my
purpose.
Love matters to
me in every field,
for without love
there is no life.
That is why I
love it, because life… is beauty.
