MÓNIKA TÓTH

Today

Present is always

struggling to grow.

I want go to the future

Today is too dull and long.

Today is too gray and unhappy.

The future is always bright,

Dreams come true there.

The future is colorful.

The happiness come true there.

Though, the future is faraway.

Yet, it is to us nearby.

My Love

I confess, the truth is.

My love.

Comes in waves of all.

At once and subsiding.

Outlast nothing.

Then again.

Outlast again

Just stay close.

Just don’t leave.

when I don’t know how to ask for help.

Life isn’t fair.

Love isn’t lonely.

Love is flame

Without you,

I still exist—

but not precisely.
