Dreams On Hold
A glance
that refuses to
fade.
A spring
that never
touched summer,
still lingers.
Life’s fruit
longs to sweeten,
to ripen, to be
plucked…
But the season
resists;
it waits,
silent.
A touch
that became a
migratory bird,
a swallow far
away,
never forgetting
its nest…
wounded,
wingless.
Time moves
swiftly,
memory leaves
gaps,
yet never
forgets
that adolescent
gaze.
When spring
turns to winter
and summer
cannot reach,
the soul
searches for lost desires,
even as hair
turns gray.
The soul never
ages, never forgets:
a caress that
sprouted wings,
a “yes” that
cannot rise,
a body unsure if
it lives,
and another that
longs deeply.
Courage arrived
too late,
the “if”
remains.
Yet the soul
remembers
sunsets and
dawns,
together, in
waiting…
The Whisper Of The Moment
– Silent Waiting
In the silence
of dusk,
anticipation
ripens.
The wind falls
quiet;
and waiting
blooms.
Within the dim
light,
it quietly
guards the miracle.
In the
half-light of dawn,
the answer
hides.
The earth’s
silence whispers:
“just a little
longer.”
At the root of
waiting,
the
unpredictable flowers.
Every lowered
gaze
hides a hope.
Waiting sets the
stage
in the deserted
heart.
In the flicker
of the day,
tomorrow is
built.
Where the gaze
falls silent,
the journey
begins.
