When You Are A Raven
And When A Singing Bird
You are a raven
when you fall in
love
with the dark,
when the morning
song sounds terrible to you,
when you peck at
the day,
and hate the
night with your heart,
you are a raven,
when you curse
the fire,
so that it may
not rejoice in the
flaming tongues.
You are a
singing bird
when you post
love
in spring,
when you follow
the direction of the good wind,
when you forgive
people's sins,
when you bow
down to the truth,
when you root
your tameness in the
desire for a
better tomorrow.
Timeless Song
The storm softly
breathes in your neck,
your blood
pulses
with devilish
speed,
your memory
is erased by
history
so that you
disappear
so that you are
no more.
Only
your
philosophical writings remain
that goodness is
a category of
blessing,
as a reflection
of your thoughts
born in a dream.
You walk
on the path of
eternity,
sunny-cloudy and
starry-present,
gloriously sung
in song,
towards you all
with respect.
You alone bear
the cross of
your suffering,
fires bloom on
your forehead,
God embraces you
with love and
attention,
angels pray for
you in mourning.
