Is the wind
whose origin and source are unknown
perhaps the voice of God
who, looking down upon the earth,
shakes his head and sighs
“No, that is not my image
nor my likeness”.

Disenchanted Light
The light of the stars
once a delight for the eye
now causes unease and fear.
Perhaps it is metal splinters,
the debris left behind
of a failed experiment
or even, far worse,
the murderous artillery
of a bloody war.
Artificial Intelligence
Will our eyes soon still see
what they see?
Will our brains
soon still think
what they think?
Will we soon still be
who we are?
