The Journey: Atoms In The Mix
The journey's
long - more miles as yet to go -,
beyond which
point the mysteries that remain
- such
challenges we never really know
except to go and
seek to ascertain.
Perhaps in truth
the journey never ends,
to think in
terms of atoms in the mix -
such energies
the scientist contends
a force therein
that no one contradicts.
The mortal mind
may wish it neatly wrapped -
conclusions
drawn a settling must be known -,
but set the
stage and something may be trapped,
if trapped by
seeds that we ourselves have sown.
Beware The Cage
People who are
imprisoned by their thoughts
have a need to
imprison others in their actions.
Beware the cage,
even with its doors open,
for, what is a
cage but an entrapment.
Your freedom is
more than flight; it is the sky
itself, as
endless as forever.
If you must
alight, be it not before the cage,
but atop of it,
that the weight of your understanding
may cause it to
shatter and to break.
Should you
shatter the cage, see to it that its bars
and wires are
dismantled, discarded, nevermore to hinder.
People who are
imprisoned by their thoughts have a need
to imprison
others in their actions.
Avoid these,
that you may avoid imprisonment,
yes, even the
prospect of imprisonment.
Meanwhile, in
your freedom, strive to set others free, that they
may fly as the
birds fly and sing as the angels sing.
Remember: heaven
is upon this Earth, but that we’d
have forgotten
how to fly.
Fly, then. Fly.
And sing, too, sing to the top of your lungs.
Be even as the
birds and the angels are. It is yours to do so.
So it must be,
for so it is written; so, it is written
in the fullness
of the sky.
