Expressive Disclosure
Written words spilled upon paper
Words that won’t, can’t be voiced aloud
To full and emotionally charged
For the voice to carry aloud
Laid down on paper as an outlet
A purge to one’s sanity, one’s soul
Moving ever forward in my journey
A way of becoming newly whole.

Fortunate Blessings
I sit and think of you often
Memories flood the mind
Moments shared together
Happy and sublime
A love that bloomed so briefly
Before being torn apart
Life and all its unpredictability
Separated two young hearts
Yet the love lives on deep within
Stored away with precious grace
Grateful to have known your soul
In this time and space.

Imprinted Expressions
So many thoughts, feelings and memories
Forever imprinted in and on me
Through seeing, feeling and experiencing
Many have left positives
Others not so much
That are some that need undoing
Reworking and rebuilding
And that will come given time
But yet they all build up
To a unique human being
Which is me.
