The Sea Inside
Tangible
sensations course through my veins,
intense emotions
race through my heart.
Cerulean, as if
painted on an imaginary canvas.
Celestial is its
magic,
superb, its
mastery.
She who stands
watching
seems almost to
quiver,
in a chimerical
expectation
of love or
perhaps in love with the sea.
To let her
thoughts run free
along the edges
of the sky,
both, brushed
with serenity
Chasing the
trailing edges of wispy clouds
to play at last,
to sneak in between them.
Thence,
following a warm zephyr,
she cleaves the
waves,
their crests
painted with the whiteness of snow.
Looming
overhead, she tracks their motion
thereafter, she
unfurls their foam.
Intoxicated by
the scent of brine,
she likewise
plunges into the marine depths,
before rising
again at the call of a summoning melody.
Harmonious
sound...
The ancestral,
delightful song
of enchanting
sirens,
longing for
love.
Dreaming with
open eyes,
within the ideal
feminine world,
immensity, these
reflect…
Truly hidden, in
truth from the sight of others.
Tranquility,
in the gentle
breathing of a salty breath.
Sacredness
transpires from
impalpable fabric,
channeled by the
skill of the Divine Artist...
Soft, rosy
features,
of her who makes
no sign of movement.
A subdued murmur
upon hidden,
sculpted lips:
an instinctive
ode intoned by her very soul...
A sweet canticle
of love,
to the
insurmountable sea she holds within.
