LIFE’S AN ENIGMA:
SONNET
Life’s an enigma,
mythological
It twists the mind
of the songsmith’s lyric
The perplexity of
a parable.
The sphinx
proposes her riddles’ havoc.
Will the
enticement of lure bring its death?
A place surrounded
by shadow’s color.
Small glimpse,
vision appears- exhales her breath
Why embrace
mendacity of dolor?
Life’s anthem will
rise upon thy depths seen.
Passions of sorrow
shall not encamp thee,
Making clear the
melody of the queen
Shedding light
upon the allegory.
A promising hope
of lucidity,
Bringing to life
perfect serenity.

DREAM OF EXPRESSION
Thoughts to words, too deep to
express.
Feelings…
The emotion within
Has always been,
In the depths of silence.
The smile fades, with
Eyes deep - longing
The inner words to parade.
To find listening ears to trust -
fall upon.
The emotions carried; portrayed for
so long.
The mind has dreamed,
Within its dream,
For the words to well forth
An ever flowing stream.

LET THE RAVEN FLY
Worrying goes no
father
Than the torment
of the soul.
Bid him goodbye.
Let the Raven fly.
Wave the banner of
victory,
A secure triumph
Send the torment
soaring.
Let the Raven fly.
No longer to be
agony
Contentment shall
be a shield.
The well-wisher,
The breath of life
within.
Let the Raven fly.
Rise above the
raving darkness,
Freedom is found,
Within the grasp
Of the light
given.
Take hold,
And let the Raven
fly.
