Delighting In Life
Navigating
life’s daily journey
can sometimes be
a struggle,
as I take care
of myself.
My body is
healing
from outside
trauma,
while growing in
the delight
of daily living.
Dream Garden
In the dream
garden
I was a wild
child.
My hair was
intertwined
with the vines.
Smells were
heavenly
as I lay in the
tall grass.
The fragrance of
flowers
were entangled
with
the thoughts in
my mind.
The dream garden
takes me
far away.

MARY BONE has been writing poetry and
short stories since childhood. Her poems have been published in Our Poetry
Archives, Poetry Catalog, eMerge Magazine, 100 subtexts, Literary Revelations
and recently a short story entitled, "Fish Story at Wharf Mountain",
at literary Yard. A chapbook was recently published at Bottlecap Press.
Upcoming poetry has been accepted at The Academy of the Heart and Mind and
eMerge magazine. Mary has written two books of poetry.
