Between Illusion And Truth
Sufferings
magnify the woes,
And compel one
to forget the
Magnanimity of
sky-like humanity.
A grief-stricken
heart
Tries to hide
beneath the pressing
Weight of tides
of sorrow.
Whereas
A state of
happiness dances in a carefree mode.
No matter if you
call it fate or call it freedom,
But of course,
that is the delusion.
However, we need
the night that teaches,
And the light
that lets us to forget.
Truth is bitter.
It strips the
night bare.
Illusion is
sweeter.
It paints the
moon back even in a dark night.
Why not then
prefer to live in illusion, With an ocean of hopes?
Since You Came
Following your
entry into my world,
I no longer wait
for anyone else.
The doorbell has
stopped disturbing,
And silent mode
is on for other uneven footsteps.
The served tea
cools in the cup,
Yet the cup
never reacts.
Evenings roll
down in a state of surprise.
The atmosphere
in the neighborhood
Prefers not to
question
As to whom I
wait for,
Or who is with
me in the candlelight arena.
Earlier, I was
forced to look for you
On every
crossroad junction,
Barefoot and
with blank eyes,
And that too in
a state of confusion and perplexity.
Now, with your
presence,
The sequential
clock has stopped,
And thus all
lamps stopped illuminating,
In a rare
waiting for a baby sun on the horizon.
