ASOKE KUMAR MITRA

ASOKE KUMAR MITRA

DREAMS OF A SUNFLOWER

Shapeless thoughts
Dreams have fallen asleep
Sunflower, a fluttering angel
Invisible wings of desire
Turned the night into a love story
The silence of soft lips

Moon sleeping
Sunflower laughs
Wounded night
Left a love note
At the wounded sky

WHIRLWIND

Memories spread quietly on the boulevard,
Untamed heart shaped clouds,
Our memories  buried within autumn flowers
Stitching moonlight on the stone
We climb through
Heart shaped leaves,
Secret desire, love is like the wind.
Stain of memories
Reckless
Deserted
Invisible magic touch
A silent stalker

We return to our silence.

GRAFFITI OF DARKNESS

Graffiti of darkness, corridors of night
A forest where the shadows played
Azure  mountain trembling in the eyes of autumn
It was raining and the whispers of stars
Like a mist you come to tame the wild
Buried in me
Huddled  corpses in the dark and the
Phantom fear, clenched lilac
And the unspoken words

Between my fingers a sacred river ran
Tonight we shall go to river side
To sing a sweet melodious song
Darkness smiled as the moon closed  its eyes…

Night is over and our memories have set sail…

EMPTY WINDS

Rhythm of your heart
Mundane untouched feelings
Passing clouds, passing stream,
Tucked inside your heart

Tears slide
Moon bounced
Circled around
Close your eyes
Drowsy sky

Memories wondering when
I will fall asleep
Don’t know what you want
Agony of moon
Only to find tears written
Holding you in my arms

Reunite at dusk again
Two arrogant hearts…
