CLAUDIA
PICCINNO
LOVE ME GOD
Love me in my imperfection
And in my mistakes.
Love me in the mysterious
restlessness
that envelops to my roots.
Love me God
in what I have good
and even more in what I have wrong
and deliver me from unjust and
undeserved distant future.
Love me in the anger that I don’t
turn into compassion,
in the gestures I have held back
in order to not cross the threshold
towards madness.
Love me and give me back the
innocence
of those who believe in the future,
Love me in order that I don’t lose
the amazement of the present.
Love me and let me make peace with
the past.
Love me God
because in the beatitude of your
infinite I will rest.
DON'T TOUCH MY PEN
The schoolmates laugh at him
When he draws himself with a brown
pencil
Anyway he's proud to be not pale as
Big Jim.
He doesn't care about teacher's
voice
When she shouted :John don't touch
my pen
Because he knows she was scared.
Differences exist
He doesn't deny.
In a smile, in a gesture
In a tone of voice.
Maybe one day he will be the
teacher
And he' ll try to teach his pupils
That clothes don't make the men
That each colour is useful in a
rainbow
And each flower has his own scent.
GOODBYE MY LITTLE STAR
Renegade
vilified
betrayed
tarnished
slandered
killed
If this is love ...
Tell me
My little star..
Of course
You called her so
As all the cowards
I met are used to do.
I’m Noemi ‘s mother
I'm the mother of his executioner.
Renegade
vilified
betrayed
tarnished
slandered
Killed.
Goodbye my little star.
May your light
Be a lamp
over my footsteps
Where every coward satellite
Obstructs the path
In the dark night
Of this perverse humanity.
