A Bouquet Of Togetherness
The garden
bloomed in varied glory
Remembering
their past hoary
Embracing all
the different hues
Co-existence
lined up in cues.
The beautiful
Rose in bright red
Accepted her
companion the prickly thorn
The aromatic
Parijat in pristine white
Enveloping all
in quiet
Dazzling yellow
of Marigold
Bedazzled the
brilliant sunlight in gold
Sunflower raised
it's face towards light
Beginning with
the beautiful morn bright.
Hibiscus
sedately perched on dark green
Morning Glory
nodded dancing to preen
Dahlia, Lotus,
Mogra and Holihock
held their heads
high
Pansy, Petunia
and Poppy popping up by and by.
Diverse in
colours and shapes adding different shades
Brightening the
garden of colourful cascades
Happy to be
together in their unique identity
A happy epiphany
of serendipity.
This garden
spoke in different tongues
Adding myriad
colour to life's songs sung
The human world
of confusion and chaos
Hopefully will
cohabit without prejudice or bias.

Learning To Live
The lady was
trying to fix the menu for the day
A chore that had
her brain curdle with whey
What to serve
with panache and verve
Every day life
threw this ball in curve.
She took out the
vegetables
A combination of
variables
She tried to mix
and match
She paired them
not in tried and tested batch.
Yellow turmeric,
black pepper,
White salt and
brown sugar to taste better
Then it was the
turn of blending them all
Different types,
different textures slowly simmered to stand tall.
Their
differences adhered cohesively
To turn
something staple into a flavourful dish wonderfully
Different
colours, different genus of vegetables
All came
together as one to be served on the table.
Family and
friends tasted her culinary spread
Savouring every
morsel their palettes sated and fed
Her
grandchildren wondered why didn't this apply to people
To live
cohesively and peacefully in strength subtle?
Together they
toasted," To togetherness,
With love
despite differences."
The essence of
living is to blend
Which is the new
beginning without any end!
