The world is a diversified land

Different people, different languages,

Different attires, different cultures

Unity is the only golden thread

That can bind us beautifully

And give us a better future.

 

We can raise our voice together

We can be united by ink,

For humanity is falling, we need to act now

We are standing at the brink.

Take a step ahead to be united

What else to think?

 

Unity brings peace

Unity brings clarity,

The world is a cozy place

When we invoke unity in diversity.

 

Unity Is Power

 

Being united when we stand together

We have another strength altogether,

A garland looks more beautiful

When the thread binds the flower together.

 

Unity is a power

We can overcome many obstacles,

When we act together

Alone, we are always weaker.

 

When were united being diversified

Forgetting our differences when we smile together

In this mundane world,

We add some flavour however.

 

There is peace and comfort in unity

We can do good, united we can do better

There remains a feeling of superiority,

When we get united amidst diversity.

SUMANA BHATTACHARJEE is a published poet and quote writer from India. She born and brought up in city Kolkata and still residing there. She has done Master Degree in English literature and done Honours in Bengali literature. From her very childhood she has a keen interest in music poetry and drama. She has an online poetry group of her own and working as an Admin of many other groups. She has written around five hundred poems and seven hundred quotes of her own till now. Her poems have been published in many national and international Anthologies, E-zine’s and blogs. She is the member of World Union of Poets, Kazakhstan. Poetry is her passion and she thinks she can spread love and peace through her ink around the world.
