First comes recognizing
A bit of love in yourself
Next comes believing in that love
Then comes giving your love away to another
Then comes seeing love
Deep in everything in the world
Then comes embracing all of yourself

Next comes forgiving the wrongs
You see in the world
Then comes forgiving
Those whom you believe
Have done your wrong
Then comes realizing in giving you life,
The Universe forgave you
Long before you were born
Then comes making peace with the Universe
Then comes forgiving yourself

Remember the highest plateaus
Are the most difficult to climb
But if you learn to hold no grudges
Against yourself, against the world
Or against the Universe,
You'll find you have wings to fly
