Light And Darkness 

(acrostic)

Light is to darkness what love is to fear;

In the presence of one, the other disappears.

Giving way to the flame that radiates with warmth,

Having light in the darkness of the night,

Throwing glitter makes life incredibly bright.

An eternally glowing light is the symbol of truth;

Nothing can dim the light and sun when they shine,

Day and night, dark and light, alternately intertwine.

Day and night converge as one,

A whisper of the world to come

Revealing light in the dark, in the night,

Knowing that darkness is merely the absence of light.

Now, when you look ahead, darkness is all you see

Embrace the light and flame, together with me

See the light and darkness inside of you, and

Smile beneath the sky of blue.

A New World

Listen closely, and you will hear the cry of our dreams. 

It is peace and tranquility that we seek,

Like a sturdy foundation that supports us beneath. 

Countless lives have been lost in the blink of an eye. 

It is time to awaken! It is time to take a stand! 

Let love, unity, and compassion take flight in our hearts.

We must embody the true essence of hope.

For the greater good, let us extend our hands

To create a safer, better place for all.

Let us envision a new world 

Free from horror, greed, and despair -

A life filled with our dreams, hope, and happiness.

FROSINA TASEVSKA

FROSINA TASEVSKA was born in Shtip, Republic of Macedonia. She is a gifted bilingual poet who composes in both English and Macedonian. Frosina has published two solo poetry collections and actively participates in various literary platforms. Her work has been featured in numerous magazines, newspapers, and anthologies, highlighting her talent and versatility. She has also received several prestigious awards for her writing, solidifying her reputation as an influential voice in contemporary literature.
