SUJATA DASH

Shed Not A Drop

Shed not a drop even, nor cry aloud

For my sojourn has culminated,

I am now home bound

Cheer for me as I soar to reach the yonder

Put a smile on your lips, let it not quiver

Reminisce the golden days of yore

The sweet nothings wafting on whispers

Do not soak yourself in sorrow and remorse

As I am set to palpate a beauteous horizon

This unique journey has no co traveler

One has to fend for self all along

It is scripted since our inception

Preordained, as devised by the Supreme soul

You may find it difficult to thrive without me

But that is how your days are going to be

Seek solace in the warmth of camaraderie

Till we meet again on the other side of life.

The Unfathomable

Time is continuous

Life is only a pause

The wheel of time spins ad infinitum

Sans fatigue and exhaustion

Time weaves

Cavernous mesmeric stories

Sets heart fluttering with feeling

Punctuating nuggets of jouissance

With contentment and bliss

If we peer into

The unfathomable abyss of

Space and Time

We find the serene tapestry of sequence

Where past, present and future coexist

Time is like an alchemic halo

That surrounds our soul and being

Ambles freely during happy tidings

But hobbles emitting inexorable heaves

When unfavorable flukes beset our journey

Time is a whole

We are mere particles of the entire

Like grains of sand on the beach

In awe with

The sprawling ocean and the vast sea

We too remain mystified by

Time's lilting charisma

That soothes our enraged nerves

In its comforting bosom.
