The River Soul
The river
Chooses it’s own path
Willing not to obey the mountain’s law
Or the Ocean’s imperial desire
It finds the softest soil to slide in
And glide happily giggling on its own course!!!
Yes, I am a river
Willing to be unwilling
Caring not to be cowered
My appearance, like my water is cool
But I am adamant like the adamantine rocks
I can cut with my slow motion and slaying smile!!!
If I will
I can run wild into the fiery forest
Or wash away the pain of the parched hills
Or deluge the desert of desiccated hearts
Or carry the bundles of sins of kings and queens
Or I can throw away the memories of bloody battles
Like useless pebbles into the dark sea of Time!
Yes, some call me crazy, some showy
But my warbling and babbling enchants all
My open hanging tresses entice
Both the small boats, yachts and the big ships
My womb nurtures fishes, frogs
As lovingly as the snakes and crocodiles
But my heart forever craves for the love of
The mighty Sea, from where my origin be
For in my beginning is my end
And in my generosity lies the bounty of God!!!
Rat In A Trap
I feel like
A rat in a trap
There’s no escaping it.
I live in the present
Take stock of what I have
Never mind
That the trap is iron or gold.
I am led by my nose
To where life is
Love is
I learn to manipulate.
It’s my destiny
It’s God’s wish
It’s Nature’s way
It’s best for my health.
Who cares for my
Sanity or insanity?
It’s the way things are!
Forget the hole
Don’t care or bother!
