ELISABETTA BAGLI

ELISABETTA BAGLI

Synapsis

The intimate connection
Of the membranes
Runs along bridges,
Exciting neurons
That are similar, free,
Playing with the urges
That burn
Like the stars that melt
When they disperse force,
As does the summer sun
On our intertwined bodies.

Light

The soul sentences
Renewing tremors
When gravity
Dispels the memory
Of the skin.
Indignant bells
Count the hours,
While the light becomes thicker
And, quickly, the ascent
To the fate of men begins.

Whining Fantasia

Tormented loneliness
Of an impotent heart
Waiting for the sky
To blaze again.
I have flown free
Between whispers and tears,
My imagination now whines
Over consumed words
As flesh sacrificed
To the axe
After the day of love.
