Autumn's Allures
Autumn undresses slowly, seductively
Removing those rich vibrant tones
Bit by bit
Nature's tantalising strip tease
An annual show of natural sensuality.

Alone Now...
Once so close
Now separate, apart
Life plays twisted, cruel tricks.

Barriers...
Breaking through barriers
That have surrounded so long
Kept hidden and isolated
Yet knowing it was wrong
Courage helped take it away
One brick at a time
Now I can revel in a view
That is tranquil and divine
Seeing new paths and perspectives
New hopes and dreams
Never doubt courage
For it's the foundations of dreams.

Autumn-tide...
Gathering in autumnal abundance
Being humble, giving thanks
Appreciating life's little miracles.

Fright Night...
The strangest of encounters occurring
Meeting madness at midnight hour
Pulled in to the shadow lands
Unable to resist its power
Feeling spooked by the sensation
Haunted, taken over, not quit right
Nerve endings tingling to the max
Body in flight or fight mode
Only other thought in mind
Can I make it through the night???

Open Your Eyes...
Open your eyes
Take a good look
And really see
This is the full package
All that is me
All flaws and imperfections
Insecurities and fears
Never will I pretend to be
Anything other than this.
