Rafah
Fleeing the
rubble to stay in tents
Arson was set
wherever they went
They sheltered
and looked out for food
They chased them
even in the wood.
The foe
inflicted all his atrocity
He beheaded
little babies and led to a calamity
All refugees
were put in an ugly trap
The enemy's plan
is to change the map.
Palestine has to
be erased from geography
They were
playing havoc with all humanity
Puppets under
the hands of this genocide
Has history
become a monstrous scene of sheer homicide?
Bombs and crimes
become safe instruments
Civilians have
to withstand psychic torments?
Rafah is all
packed up under the severe blast
Fire has
blistered entire bodies into sheer dust.
What About Us?
What about us we
are silent!
Shame on us we
do not rebel
We are colonized
and subservient
When it comes to
taking revenge as well.
What about us?
We are
manipulated from within
Like 1984
pointing at our EYES its Giant Screen
The big brother
is Watching Us
But our
conscience does not make a fuss!
What about us?
Only a nation
like Palestine reacts
To this barbaric
policy, and destitute facts
Neither we
rebel, nor take revenge
Drowned in our
insomnia, we just surrender & plunge.
What about us?
Shame on all
Arab nations
Who never point
their fingers
And look at this
calamity that lingers.
What about us?
Where 's the
conscience of humanity?
Should we stick
to insanity
Let the earth
sink in blood
Turn its
blessing into a disgusting flood.
What about us?
It's high time
to heal all this barbaric stuff
Proclaim to see
a rising laugh
Children are
dying, and becoming martyrs
Save their souls
from these burnable fires.
Standing Still!
I have spent all
my childhood crying
Who's going to
relieve my suffering?
I have been an
orphan since an early age
My revolutionary
spirit reinforced my rage.
A broken young
girl I have ever been
What do you ever
know of the word Sin?
You punish me
for a wrong I have not done
Why do you
prevent me from seeing the Sun.
Universal love
has always been my motto
A resurrection
of Descartes and his Cogito
I think
therefore I exist is it still valid & true?
I feel therefore
I live is what you strive to outdo!
You won't wipe
the smile from my juvenile face
God will
resuscitate my usurped Grace
As a young girl
I will arise from the rubble
Standing still!
it is rather you who'll have much trouble!
