A Dream
Our Gea demands
a green land like my field
to scatter seeds
to harvest sheaves
to plant a bulb
to see it grow
to bloom in each season region
a crystal-clear sea without oil
or plastic to entangle the fish
that swim and dance their own rhythm
to the beat of music
pure air without cutting down trees
a clear ecosystem
we need oxygen
life
A call of hope
to build a new world
without walls / or borders
let us be bridges of a single globe
let there be no countries
only sky / sea / land
free like monarchs in full flutter
a utopia / a dream
to be citizens of the world
where we are all brothers
with the same voice
without distinction of race / creed / power /
I would be a dreamer
cause, this is my DREAM!
What Would I Do?
What would I do
If a tiny light awoke inside me
and your memory would light up, a beacon,
and we both surrendered to Venus
and we were one?
What would I do?
If my hands,
like a leaf litter,
moved dusty,
drift in the wind, and I only had the strength
to embrace your leafy tree?
What would I do?
If the murmur of the waves
brought your beloved voice,
whispering promises in the darkness,
weaving dreams with threads of nostalgia?
What would I do
if the moon
became an accomplice to our meeting,
illuminating the path
that leads to your embrace,
dissolving the shadows
that separate us?
What would I do
if you came to me
like a young lad,
to lose yourself in every fold of my mountain,
to drink from the fountain
of my raised blanket?
What would I do
if tonight,
with my silver threads,
you opened my window and I,
there, folded in two,
curled up, faithful to your wait,
took the first step
and drank every pore of my complexion
aged by autumn
with spring light
to moisten it with your passionate
kissesas in our gone youth?
What would I do?
Tell me, what would I do?
Now, it's too late,
you fell asleep,
and I'm dreaming
in this burning night,
where only the owls
hover around my cornices of straw and mud.
What would I do?
Nothing anymore. just keep dreaming!
