When Dreams Fruition
Life takes an elegant turn
Becomes an adorable sojourn
When fantasies simmer in the cauldron of hope
core soars like an ecstatic parachute
Dreams corsage under the bountiful sun
When the splendid pair of longing and craving
Join hands to get something
Soul of intent acts as facilitator
Smoothens the process of realization of dreams
Existence exults in ecstasy, takes a joy ride
When ardent wishes takeoff
Desires bloom in myriad hues
All my palpable and distant dreams fruition
I hop and jump, perch in seventh heaven
When ideas conceived in subconscious
Yield pined results, I close my eyes
Express my obeisance and gratefulness to God
For having granted my ardor and passion.
My Companion
In the womb of dream
All unfulfilled desires find berth
Setting into motion the glimmer of hope
Despite unfriendly hazy roads
In the tiny repertoire of dream
A fervent wish takes birth
Guides soul's purpose like a polestar
Beaconing future course of action
I flash a small tentative smile
to boost my sagging morale
and continue with the hazardous path
embracing a stoic disposition
Seasons come and leave of own volition
be it nip of winter, harsh summer
or the mellow of autumn
crooning some aubade notes
I march ahead with grit and candor
for, dream remains my companion all along
Embracing life's iridescent colors
I dare barrel my way
through tempestuous and torrid patches
to actualize dream and prove own mettle
shoving off fear of thunder claps.
