NO REASON

Sometimes the way you are to go

is not the way you would've chosen

You might need to take it slow,

inside you might start to feel frozen

You might even lose your faith,

because the future is so unclear

-don't be threatened by a wraith,

but start to see what's on your side, right here

You don't have a reason to give up:

You might have to take a detour,

but there is no need at all to stop

just because you feel so insecure,

because you don't know for now

what to do, or even how…

Even if the way seems blocked,

it doesn't mean the end of all:

There are just some doors which are locked

-give up false pride, there might be someone to call

There is certainly a way to go on,

something you are able to do:

Even if you feel like your strength is gone,

there is a way you can make it through

RELIGION

What we choose to believe in

is a very personal choice,

so the point where I'd like to begin

is by listening to the own inner voice

We need to be silent in order to hear,

we shouldn't be led by some inner fear:

Just start the journey by finding out

what religion  really is all about

Religion usually shows how we should live,

you can find it to be a good guiding line

It gives examples of what we could give,

what we can do to be doing really fine

Your parents might have chosen for you,

trying to be giving all their best

-but if this choice for you really can do

can only show if you put it to the test

What you believe in is a matter of heart,

nobody can really show you the way,

so a good point with which you  can start

is by learning just a bit - but every day

Your religion should match the traditions you follow,

it should be able to give advice and help you grow

You should be feeling inner peace and love,

as taught be the great teachers I am thinking of

Never forget - your religion should help you show

the best of you that's hidden inside

-find the truth, and follow the way you choose to go:

Don't be led by prejudice, but let understanding be your guide

A CURE

Is it really important for you

who the other person really may be?

What other persons may get to see

- their look, their colour of skin -

is it really necessary for you to begin,

to start seeing what they have gone through?

Would you even avoid to simply talk

just because there might be something you didn't expect?

Do you fear something you weren't able to detect,

that could make you feel a way you didn't before?

Are you afraid to be able to see more

so you don't dare to even take a walk?

By only seeing what's outside

there is too much we get to ignore

If we look deeper into each other's core,

we might find not much that keeps us apart

We are not so different deep inside our heart

Who we are doesn't need to hide

Don't you finally understand

that we all have only one origin?

That fighting each other is the real sin,

when we really should support each other?

Can't you tell that we all really should act as sister and brother,

one family that should be working together hand in hand?

In this harmony I'm thinking of

each person can find a place they belong,

because only together we can be really strong

there is no real reason to separate

-so stop fighting each other before it's too late:

I believe the cure for this world is peace and love
