LÂM QUANG MỸ

ME AND MY VERSE

Sometimes my verse moves as light breeze

Like thin strips of wind after a sudden storm

That turned the landscape into ruin

Sometimes my verse is a young man

His carefree singing while walking on

Who sees some thing at the side of the road

– but dares not pick it up

And me? I am dry as the leaves in late autumn

Thrown by the wind through the older tracks

But now does not know – if happy or sad.

Tôi và thơ tôi

Đôi khi thơ tôi

như những sợi gió mỏng manh

còn sót lại sau từng cơn bão

vẫn gợi lên cảnh hoang tàn đổ nát.

Đôi khi thơ tôi

như đứa trẻ thơ

hồn nhiên vừa đi vừa hát

thấy của rơi bên đường không dám nhặt.

Còn tôi như chiếc lá khô cuối thu

gió đưa lạc về lối cũ

không biết buồn hay vui...

AIMLESS

Evening descends on waves

Waves, upon the shore

My Soul descends to the sea bed

The sea, to the horizon

Something descends upon my heart

As sorrow, longing, pain

Love descends on space

& what descends on love?

Vẩn  vơ…

Chiều rơi trên từng con sóng

Sóng rơi trên bãi cát mềm

Hồn ta rơi vào đáy biển

Biển rơi vào cõi vô biên…

Có gì rơi vào lòng ta

Như là ân-hận, xót-xa

Như là những lời oán trách…

Tình-yêu rơi vào xa-cách

Có gì rơi vào Tình-yêu?...

ON ROUTE

We swear – take not forbidden fruit

But still want paradise!

We pass our wondering years on earth

But knowing naught of life!

We miss the clod beneath our feet

While thought is flying high.

We thought – the heart turned into stone

But still will cry through nights!

Our gain is but a gift to all

But still we count our loss.

We know - life is the branchéd tree

Yet walk the travelled paths…

Lối mòn

Đã thề không ăn trái cấm

Sao còn mơ tới thiên đàng!

Trần thế bao năm xuôi ngược

Đời chưa tỏ hết dọc ngang!

Chưa có dưới chân mảnh đất

Lo toàn chuyện lớn trên đầu.

Trái tim tưởng là hóa đá

Nhưng rồi thổn thức canh thâu!

Biết là có vay có trả

Sao còn suy tính thiệt hơn.

Biết là đường đời trăm ngả

Vẫn đi theo một lối mòn!

Awards received: -  Prize for the arresting poems on Autumn , by the Polish Writers’ Association, 2004.-  Two Prizes for Poetry and Literary Activities in 2006 and 2016 on the International Poetry Days by Polish UNESCO.-  Honorary Citizen of Krasne District, the Homeland of the great polish poet Zygmunt Krasinski.. -  Two 1st Prizes (conferred by the Examination Boards and by the public) from “The Poetry Marathon Contest” at The Fifth Poetry Festival among the countries having a common border with Poland" in the city of Rzeszow, 2008. -  Two "Large Laurels Branches" for poetry and poetry translation at the International Festival of  Literature in Galicja, Poland, in 2009 and 2011. -  Commemorative Plaque of "For the cause of Vietnamese Literature and Arts" by Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, 2010. -  Clement Janicki prize named for Lifetime Achievement and the contribution to the European Cultures, 2013..-  The ministerial Medal for Contribution to Polish Culture, 2013.

Giải thưởng Văn học: -  Thơ hay về Mùa Thu do Hội Nhà Văn Ba Lan trao năm 2004. -  Hai Giải thưởng về thơ và những hoạt động văn học của Những Ngày Thơ Quốc tế do UNESCO Ba Lan trao tặng năm 2006 và 2016. -  Hai giải nhất (của ban Giám khảo và của công chúng) cuộc thi Marathon Thơ trong "Liên hoan thơ lần thứ năm Các nước có chung biên giới với Ba Lan" tại thành phố Rzeszow 6-2008. -  Hai “Cành Nguyệt quế  Lớn” về thơ và dịch thơ tại Liên hoan Văn học Quốc tế Galicja Ba Lan năm 2009 và 2011. -  Kỉ niệm chương "Vì Sự nghiệp Văn học Nghệ thuật Việt Nam" do Hội Liên hiệp Văn học Nghệ thuật Việt Nam trao tặng tháng 2 năm 2010.-  Giải thưởng Văn học mang tên Klemens Janicki về toàn bộ sáng tác văn học và sự đóng góp vào nền Văn hoá châu Âu, năm 2013.-  Huân chương danh dự về sự đóng góp cho nền Văn hoá Ba Lan do Bộ Văn hoá và Di sản Quốc Gia Ba Lan trao tặng năm 2013.
