LOVE RUNS THROUGH TIME
Love runs through time
Stop the clock ticking…
Freeze the image in your mind
Never forget the love you found
When love runs through time…
My heart will go the distance
My love for you never ends
I drift away slowly
Haunting my dreams
Stop the clock ticking…
Freeze the image in your mind
Erase a single moment in time
As I long to feel your touch
When love runs through time…
TWILIGHT SKY
A twilight sky sparkles with a wink
In a purple mystified haze
Shrouds the clear heavens above
An owl hoots in birch tree, loudly
White feathers and brown flow
In the breezy wind
Serenely the clouds pass by
Where the moonbeams glow
And the moon is full
Twilight sky mellow gray
Fainted hues of color
On a painted sky
Sunset scattering…
AS A WRITER
My words jot down on a piece of
paper
Thoughts, persons, storylines
collide
Imagination, creativity, love’s
blind
Distraction stay away, as I think
and write my way…
As a writer express my feelings and
Process imperfection, criticism
take
To heart how you want your words to
say…
As a writer the words brainstorm
Your thinking cap, but time to time
There can be a writer’s block
A voice inside will not be still
Recognition as a writer, never
stops
A dreamer never gives up the gift
A POET’S MIND
It’s a matter of perception that
determines our mood
A sweet sing of refrain
We do what or say we can do
A poet’s mind, truly state of mind…
A conscious attitude, some learn
Nothing new, while others are
Grateful for each new day
And do what they can do
Music, poetry, words express
Young at heart and old
A poet’s mind is always foretold…
A SEASON’S LIFE
We have four seasons that come to
life
Summer, spring, winter, and fall
Leaves falling from the sky
Swimming in the ocean in warm salty water bubbly foam current waves
Walking along the sand, taking each
other by the hand…
Flowers come spring and sunshine
sprouts, watering all the flowers about
Winter is cold and brisk
Snowflakes falling on eyelashes
Sleds, snowball fights, hot
chocolate
Warms the blood and cold toes
Fall colors turn leaves
That flutter to the ground
