JETON KELMENDI

JETON KELMENDI

THE WORD CROSSED THE SILENCE

I am accustomed yesterday
To speak a little
I am full with the respiration of sadness
In the most remote areas
Of your eyes
Since long ago I begun to arrive
From you
To speak silently to you
To confess in you
For you
And for me

Yesterday I thought
To say to you
That you are
The bread of the verses
The water of the word
Me for you
The most sung song
Of all ages

Yesterday I wanted to be quiet
To talk a little
To become a shadow
To cover the Sun light
I wanted
To trespass
All maliciousness of
The whole humanity

Yesterday I saw
How I can be discovered again
From you
How can I
Be found again
From you
Early or later
Yesterday
I have struggled
To become happy most of the time.

FOR THE GLASS OF WORRY

Man, drink
Your glass
The red wine of her
Worry

Drink it all
Finish it
And don’t
Leave the verses
Drops
Which are written in solitude

Neither like this,
Not drunk you are not a person

NUDO

With no one I would change
The language

But today with you I will change it
One hour
Two
Three
Until it touches the end of the word
I would say everything
In a nude fashion
Just like the first kiss

You are cold looking through my eyes
Nudo
I would never change you with anything.
