GEORGIANA L GHEORGHE

GEORGIANA-LAURA GHEORGHE

The Soul In Springtime

Is awake from his long hibernation by Dragobete from February,

Is welcoming the feathered friends with open arms

Ready to join them in their flight to the sun.

Is the witness to the first snowdrop

That is poking his little head from the white duvet.

Is helping Her Majesty to add some color to nature,

Is giving bouquets of flowers to mothers and loved ones,

Is ready to share his life with his soul mate

With which he waltzes in the April showers.

Is shedding bitter tears when he sees Jesus crucified

And his heart is leaping at the Resurrection of Jesus.

The Chest Of Life

Somewhere in a dusty attic,

There’s an old wooden chest

Full of life’s priceless treasures

Those were long forgotten by the hasty men.

What Are You Grateful For Today?

My family that offers me support,

Is a shoulder to cry on during bad days,

Is cheering me up when I got the blues

And that is helping me regain my confidence with patience and wisdom.

To the honest people that appreciates my work,

To the beautiful things that Mother Nature

Generously offered me even if others cared less.

In the end, I’m grateful for everything I have.
