All of a sudden

Belly swollen the time is drawing near, another addition to the family.

The feeling of sadness came. This is it. “NO MORE.”

Have to concentrate making a better life, not another mouth to fee.

Taking time to get away from it all. The phone rang.

The words like stabbing knives. In the car just got this news,

started to mash gas like a speed chase that can’t go wrong.

Feeling the weight of the pregnancy, too heavy to carry.

Arrive at the scene, everyone is good safe, thank god.

Nothing to do but watch the flames destroy the family home.

A home filled with memories, secrets, stories from ancestors

that lived before and gone.

This is life. What to do? To function is hard, starting over is harder.

Everything up in smoke. The fire trucks came, the fire was outed.

it’s a sad day, but life is important. To start over will be hard, but

got to make it, positive mind set. Just then sharp pains

too much to bear. The baby was coming. No time to waste.

Instead of attending to fires. A voice said “PUSH” “PUSH.”

Everything happened so fast, labor intense, sweat and

pain, complications. Passed out, never woke up.

What about the baby? Not sure, maybe it’s better that way.

Just like the house in flames, lives can perish also.

No extra mouth to feed.

Too Young, I Thought I Knew

The dreams that build inside, was dancing out of reach.

The choices that was made, can’t turn back the hands of time now.

The bed is made up and to lie is a must. Can’t blame anyone for silly mistakes,

because the baby coming soon. Teenage mom, can’t think to have fun, go and hang out .

Parties, friends and house parties is a thing of the past.

Reality hit so hard, feeling sad and frustrated, the tears flowing.

HELP!! HELP!! anyone, it’s a faint cry voice is too hoarse now.

Transformation happened so fast. Who to blame? No one no pointing fingers.

Mummy spoke, but the ears refused to hear.

The ears listened to another tune, listened to friends, their kind of music.

Listened to songs daily that spoke the language of disobedience.

Mummy’s voice was drowned out by the orchestra, that played in the head.

It was powerful, at least for the time. But everything stopped,

The dancing the singing the music stopped.

Reality is here, the friends are gone. Mummy is no more.

In the distance a sound of a new life and then “CONGRATULATIONS!!!

It’s a boy…..”

Just A Rational Thought

Look in the mirror and the reflection is there.

What there is to change? Self-talking to self

That’s the true image. Any change needed? A lot.

The mind needs fixing because it’s not normal.

It thinks what it wants and take a dive into the

unknown. It rules, it somehow takes control.

It can turn emotions into a crying scenario.

If leaving the body was made normal, many

lives would be living large. For instance,

take out depression, sadness, anger, place it

with love, joy, peace, hope and friendship.

What about love? That’s the biggest peace

make room for that. Love conquers all.

There will be no room for all the things

that triggers, that stresses, that hurts

that make inferiors win, that even the

superiors is crammed and can’t reach

the heights of gaining that win to survive.

What to do next? That’s the question. Should

man or human go back to the drawing board?

And learn to love again treat each other with kindness

and respect. Where’s the magic wand when it’s needed.

The world is crying out to be saved. But can anyone save

themselves from themselves? Self-talking to self.

Such destruction. The mind endured. Torments.

What’s the point? What’s the use? It’s a

hopeless case. Or is it.? Nothing can be fixed.

that’s the mind speaking. But don’t listen to it,

sometimes it’s good to ignore.

Keep fighting for the peace of mind.

Get it?
