She Will Rise Again ...

She will rise  from the ashes

from the faded  colors  of the  desert flowers

She will be back this time  as she did  before

She will touch  her dreams

hanging in between the leaves

of tangled branches of wild trees where moon is trapped still

So far •••

In  utter silence

She has sprinkled nectar on you in her womb,

She has  worn a smile on her parched lips for you.

How can you forget

the hands  that  cared for you so far

Don't call her a stream , flowing with waves of sin

She  has clung you to her soft body

with love from  time immemorial

She understands well •••

Your hunger, hidden in the dark chambers

Your thirst , of burning fire !

Your pain , of your existence

and the reason behind  your survival

You don't know

She will never perish ,

But will survive like an immortal vine

She will continue to smile like the tender leaves

She will stretch herself to touch the sky

to paint her dreams

and will shine for ever like  a star in

Akash Ganga to remind you

There is no safe home for you

 other than her womb

O! Woman's child, don’t you know

you are born unto  the ambrosia of heaven

So sprinkle it upon yourself

and be the eternal Man !

My Grandpa ...A green crusader

Years have  passed by ...

These banyan , pipal and mango trees

and other more  indigenous species

are now telling us  innumerable  stories

Our dear grand father !

You are  no less a green crusader

The thick foliage that you created in this village

Provides welcome shade to weary travellers

Oh my Grandpa !

You have reared  them as our family members

They are thousands in  number now

An ultimate endeavor that you initiated over the years

Your rare  touch  of affection

have redefined  compassion

It is all for your tireless efforts

Now we all smile together

On  the   bed  of passing  time

your footprints are all cast fine

you have moulded  thousands of minds

No doubt , you are a gift from the divine

Shades Of Blue …

Many  shades of blue

Its difficult to prove

The mind operates through you

Can it be dropped ,with alternatives

can one move

If  move mindlessly , will the truth be revealed to you !

A war zone !

Heart fights with mind when a desire passes through,

Hardly one can escape and return to the rhythms of life.

If you lose, thrown to a prison

Mind functions through  senses

If channelized with all its energy would reveal  the heaven .

The clouds of hallucination

may knock you down to hell

All that is beautiful

Is visible through mind

All that is ugly, is hidden behind

Be it's master

With subtle logic

you can be a creator

Mind is a gateway of the world

Lets behold nothing but

that loving force manifested

in everything on earth,

even in a grain of sand .
