EWITH BAHAR

EWITH BAHAR

A Wall

I built a wall and make my own territory

To live with my own rule

Comprehending true freedom

But life doesn't need a wall

And wants every element

Harmoniously mingled

If I persist building my own wall

To pursue a freedom

A trap named restraint

Will be a luxurious certitude

Locking me down

From civilization

From life.

Eyesight

Capturing things with blind mind

Like the open eyes seeing no tints and hues

Undisguised but meaningless

We learn genuineness

From the righteousness and wrongness

A lifetime

We walked through life with closed eyes

See everything with heart's sensitivity

Even we sometimes need no eyes

Because the mind keeps the sterling eyesight most.

A Letter For Terrorist

Dear terrorist,

Don't you know that in this very short journey

Nothing we should do but doing good deeds

For ourselves, for others, for the world

Aren't you sometimes ashamed

Coloring your path with blood

That won't come out of your life forever

Make your burden unbearable

As a consequence of betraying your own dignity

No ways found for reclaiming your lost pride

After taking many lives and causing pain to the world

No advantages you obtain but imprisoning your own soul

In a lethal darkness without door and windows.
