Let’s
Not Forget…
To keep customs
and traditions alive
By passing them
to the next generations.
To cherish
those that deserve our respect,
Not only for
their loyalty and kindness towards us,
But who aren’t
afraid to show who they really are.
To nurture our
soul with love and prayer
For its holy
light to dispel the darkness
Created by the
dark ones’ malice.
That to be wise
means to listen to
The voice of
reason and the inner voice
To make the
right decisions
In a world that
seems to be sinking
Lower and lower
into the abyss.
To honor the
brave souls, whose deeds
Led to
discoveries, inventions, cures,
Truths and even
our freedom in hard times
When we thought
tyranny will never end.
To gain insight
from art and culture
To discover our
true selves.
To spend time
with ourselves
In Mother
Nature’s arms
To return to
our roots
And see how
much
We really
accomplished
Despite others’
snide remarks.
That we’re all
human,
It’s normal to
make mistakes,
But it depends
on how each
Chooses what to
do next.
A
Meeting With Life
I arrange in
nature’s temple
Away from the
hustle and bustle of the world,
Happy to see
her in person
And hoping to
talk at leisure
About the price
of each deed
I performed
along the way
That she
sometimes paves with temptations
To test the
strength of my soul.
When I was
little, she taught me that she is not a toy
That I can give
others to play with,
But a novel
that only I can write,
Preferring to
give hope even if she’s hard.
I arrange on
the mountain under the canopy of stars,
Painting her
portrait in the moonlight
Thanking her
for taking time to see me,
Receiving her
beautiful smile in return.
I can arrange
anytime and everywhere
If I put my
mind to it.
I prick up my
ears to hear her sing
Announcing her
arrival when I wait for her at the gate.
Where
Are the Real People?
Many offer to
give a helping hand
Without knowing
that sometimes, they’re part of the décor
Cunningly
arranged by those that believe themselves superior
To replace the
real values.
We continue to
look for them through the dense jungle,
Hoping to find
them in the sunny clearing,
Where they
share their wisdom,
So that we can
find solutions to repair this damage.
Although
they’re rare priceless treasures,
They are and
will always be a ray of the sun
To the souls
driven into the depths of despair,
Encouraging
them to spread their wings and fly.
