Where Water Sings Over The Stones..
the quick
sands
of Covid
sweep
across,
shrouding
man's
survival game...
Where are
we
heading
to...?
You can
hear
the sand
drifting
from
the tops
and
valleys
throwing
back
their
despair...
it echoes,
pervades
the
near,.
the far,
while
pale
horizons
watch...
No, out
there
a plain
awaits...
your
abode
of
solace...
where
water
sings
over
the
stones
the wind
cools
you,
the
cattle
stand in
wait
under the
trees
to step
down
to the
riverside
to quench
their
thirst..
wait,
wait
we too
must
for
the
sandstorm
to
subside
and the
sky
to clear
up...
Awareness
the sun
yesterday's
today's
tomorrow's
the
same...
the usual
dawns
and
eves..
but
beyond
hormonal
hijack
an
awareness
dawns...
we just
the links
in the
cosmic
chain..
breathe
easy
be
content...
mankind
has
learnt
to slow
down...
to watch
how the
turbulent
waves
take rest
on those
horizons,
dim,
distant..
how the
pensive
hilltops
slope
down
to the
valleys
to waft
in
solace...
time to
reach out
to the
needy
for whom
no work
means
no food..
time for
those
stalled
calls to
the
ailing
uncle,aunt,
senior
colleague..
time to
reminisce
read, listen..
time for
stars
and star
wars
with your
kids...
hah!
how we
have sobered
down
to the
tunes
of
nature's
levelling
synchrony..
Prayer
This eve,
more than
ever
tears
well up
in my
eye..
thou,
all
knowing
all
seeing
radiance
above !
can't you
see
how your
children
struggle
suffer...
the flies
fluttering
round the
fire
burning
themselves..
how
vivacious
they
were,
poor
mortals
dancing
delirious
with life
energy
you
showered..
sure
you had
the
creator's
high
watching.
their
vivacious
dance..
now
they
struggle
to
survive..
their
dance
languid
inane..
Lord!
thy own
children
!
pierce
their
misty
shroud,
brighten
up their
being..
we need
your
grace
radiance
full.
