FRANCESCO FAVETTA

Warrior Song

Let me be wind

in the winter rain

let me be storm

and destiny tied to the stars

a lightning bolt

fallen on the earth

the fire of life

and the song of love.

Let me be torment

the voice of passion

let me be a long path

and the road of every day

the freedoms in the blood

the last thought of the heart

the voice of courage

and the warrior song.

The Silent Bows Of Life

I don't know where you are

but I see your hands

in the wind that blows

so powerfully from the East

and I also hear your voice

singing the songs

left silent distances

and then the different stories

like the incredible novels

destinies without direction

still alive in history.

In the silence I hear

the silent bows of life

ploughing the swollen seas

and the wakes on the waves

slide forward

between the darkness and the pains

the storms and the punishments

and then in the distance

I also hear the tired voices

of mothers and children

in the long nights of life.

Sun  Moon  And  Love

Sun moon and love

and inside your eyes

my blood breaks

like the wave on the rocks

fragrant wake in the heart

your every warm breath

rainbow is in my veins.

Sun moon and love

and you woman are the enchantment

then you drown your voice

inside my life

and with your words

dressed in quicksilver

you steal my every smile.

Here Often Dies

What you want man

is already inside you

is not outside your heart

but is rooted in your blood

in your different values

in the seed immersed

in your flesh.

Here often dies

the truth on the lips

and men remain immobile

enclosed in fears

slaves of evil

disciples of nothingness

followers of death.
