GEORGIANA-LAURA GHEORGHE

I Received The Light

I shyly step into the Holy Tomb,

Ready to cleanse myself of my sins,

Despite my heart still weeping

From seeing the cruelty

Inflicted upon You, innocent soul.

A ray of hope penetrates into my body,

Wiping away the tears of the broken heart.

Heeding your advice, I begin to nourish it

With large portions of prayer and love,

Trying to leave the worldly things behind.

I humbly receive Your light,

To protect me from the sly one,

To light the way to the ones,

Those are lost in the dark forest of despair

And to follow Your path, Lord.

A Holy Sign

Seeing the world in despair,

A sign is given to us from above,

To help us repair the mistakes we made.

Guided by the white dove,

We nourish our soul with prayer

To light our inner lamp,

Spreading love and light

Wherever we go,

In the hope of bringing peace

To the world misguided by darkness.
