NİLÜFER UÇAR

Beyond Your Eyes

I stayed at read the light

falling beyond your eyes

no matter how many times I bumped into your smile, I was shaken

you were not fickle, you became a hyacinth and bowed down

to the gracious touch of the spotless raindrop

I picked your gaze on the horizon line

from the magical crimson where the sun is in a dilemma

when i was about to get a spark in your warmth

the scandalous skin of your cigarette turned into a fire scene

a lifetime also passed like this

through the hands of time whose record is dusty

you carried your human love to the seven regions of sadness

you considered your cross stitch embroidered passion peer of rivers

the naked eagerness relying on the summer heat

made its face fit into the shadow of the heedless cypress

you closed the curtains of your eyes

before I could read beyond your eyes

Be Yourself You Face

.

leave an offended past here

let it smell history with its dust and footprints

if the key to it is rusty, what would change

as time becomes water and runs

leave the emptiness you hold in your hand here

let no sin be smeared in the sweat in your palms

be yourself you face with your undamaged face

take my hand without breaking off and being blown away

I am a stranger to the justice weighed by blind scales

and measured with broken tape measures

leave the cold of the miserable lifetime

do not ask about the infinity of the patience that crawls inside me

sure the heavy burden of life will come to an end

May your side that gets sunlight be yours

Do not ask me about your shadow that falls faraway

give me your side that reminds me of your warmth

Does a human wash his pain away in his tears?

if what we experience is not a mind game

is this the awakening of a dream?

The Dawn

every night that my effort stayed overnight

the growl of evil was heard behind the door

I wouldn't yet care the cranky aches

If I hadn't stayed in the invasion of dreams

by the innocent dreams

in the indolent bed of the morning

the crumbs of mercy

that the garbage collectors swept

neither fed pigeons

nor was an oitment for wounds

the moonlight that fell into the lime well

pinned its hope on stray cats

It was almost dawn

if the representative splendor of the darkness

had not reared up

the light beam that pitched its small tent in the neighborhood

stuck in the worried days

that long for the smell of bread

the fragility of the light that bounced on the eyes of the morning

fell

on the heart murmur

of the children whose hands are cold
