EDITH ELVIRA COLQUI ROJAS

A Friend Is Clear Water

A friend is clear water,

in good times and bad;

a friend doesn't betray you,

they encourage and comfort you.

A friend is a treasure,

valuable and shining like gold,

They help you if you slip!

Because they are a faithful tower, without deceit.

The company of a friend

always tastes like the warmth of home!

A sincere friend

is a rare and valuable pearl

that must be tested in adversity.

If they persist with you through trials,

they are a true friend!

Having a true friend is a blessing from heaven,

They fulfill all our wishes!

They give us flowers of joy,

companionship, and peace.

Betrayal Of A Friend

Like a dagger in the back

is the betrayal of a friend;

it's a wound that bleeds and bleeds,

whose wound doesn't clot.

A friend...

better be tested;

there are some who, with the appearance of sheep,

carry a caged wolf.

A good friend is a sun;

a bad friend, a harmful wheat:

apparently, a sweet fig,

but in truth, sour and poisonous.

A friend who betrays

erodes trust and affection;

no project can be built with them.

A faithful friend

doesn't stab you in the back;

they always support you with their actions.

They tell you the truth to your face,

they don't deceive you,

they advise you,

and they love you.
