ISABELLA SORDI

Now And Then I Think Of You

Now and then I think of you, and memory

fades into the aura of summer.

Then I relive you in a memory,

in the cheerful, colorful gerbera,

in the calla, precious and decadent,

in the wisteria cloaking the porch.

So I think of you, my friend, and see you again

in this rain that resembles weeping,

in my life, fragile and restless.

Ogni tanto ti penso

Ogni tanto ti penso e la memoria

si stempera nell'aura dell'estate.

Allora ti rivivo in un ricordo,

nella gerbera allegra e colorata,

nella calla preziosa e decadente,

nel glicine che ammanta il porticato.

Così ti penso, amica, e ti rivedo

in questa pioggia che assomiglia al pianto,

nella mia vita, fragile e inquieta.
