ANNA MARIA
DALL’OLIO
GROPING: THE DEFENCE
If life is temporary business
field of light walled with love
strongly I’ll suck your sorrow
shadows won’t suck you stranger.
L’annaspo. La difesa
Se la vita è affare temporaneo
campo di luce cinto d’amore
succhierò strenua il tuo dolore
l’ombra non ti risucchierà
estraneo.
GROPING: THE ATTACK
On the floor you found my soul
fallen candles crumbled walls
pots of upset sadness.
Your hands of so skilled a man
suddenly, bravely, strongly
from my soul pruned death
firstidentified in shouts
lateruprooted in despair.
L’annaspo. L’attacco.
Trovasti l’anima mia sul selciato
candele cadute muro crollato
vasi di tristezza sconvolta.
Con mani pazienti d’uomo sapiente
d'improvviso impavido imponente
rovi intricati recidesti.
Dall’anima mia potasti la morte:
prima con grida la riconoscesti
poi la strappasti con disperazione.
CARELESSLY
Carelessly
you struck the chords of my lute:
amid the crowd, my head.
Carelessly
rosethorns you hurled at me
into my soul: sore scratches
Foolishly
April turned into December
buds scorched by frost.
SBADATAMENTE
Sbadatamente
m’urtasti le corde del liuto:
la testa, via tra la folla.
Sbadatamente
mi scagliasti spine di rose
sull’anima: graffi profondi.
Sconsideratamente
aprilefecesi dicembre
gelo mi strinò le gemme
