MARCO BRUNI

I Look At The Leaves

I watch the leaves, dancing in the air,

while the wind crucifies my bones,

along roads, of wine and rows,

that look like buttoned coats,

with eyes smoked by the frost,

and the hat dripping on the nose

the boredom of work and life,

that deceives and trembles

and presses upon the heart,

the envy of the fool, by the river.

Bomb

Inspired By Terminal Realism

Created By Guido Oldani

The bomb tore the city apart,

and the black buildings still smoke

like a coal chimney

in the aquarium of human blood and flesh;

and the sky and the sea are a windowsill

that stops on the trees and in the heart

like infantrymen filled inside with lead,

they become dry-eyed statues.

Go And Go

Inspired By Terminal Realism

Created By Guido Oldani

Things, men, voices, chance,

it's fresh news from the newspaper

and the world is butt on rails

tight in the zipper of the vest;

and the sewage immersed in the sea

is the itinerary inside the city,

between rubber and industrial tyres,

inside pans of scrambled egg
