To You 

As the earth thirsts for rain,  

As the sunflower longs for the sun,  

So does my soul yearn for you. 

In every drop, in every ray,  

I see your image, your gentle smile.  

Just as night has its darkness,  

So do I seek the trace of you in my heart. 

As the earth awaits spring,  

As the flower dreams of azure heights,  

My heart, like a swallow, comes to you,  

To love you through the depths of affection. 

In every breeze, I hear your whisper,  

In every leaf, I feel your breath,  

For you are my unrest, from which I suffer,  

My everything, and my eternal fear. 

As the earth thirsts for rain,

Dreaming of you, loving you, always listening to you.

Raindrops

Raindrops fall silently from the sky,

The rose in the garden gently unfolds its petals.

And love, like a river, flows deep,

Entwined with rain and flower, in an endless dance.

Gracefully, the rain kisses the rose in the night,

Gently illuminating it with its droplets.

And the rose, like a lovestruck maiden,

Receives rain kisses with joy and a smile.

Love, like the scent of a rose in the air,

Softly envelops the heart, 

Making it strong and tender.

In this union of nature and emotion,

We discover the beauty of love that doesn't fade 

Even when the rain stops.

The River Of Eternity

In the silence of dawn's embrace,

Where freedom's song finds its space,

In the whispers of the ancient trees,

Lies the essence of inner peace.

Through the mist of morning's light,

Where souls dance in pure delight,

In the unity of hearts set free,

Flows the river of eternity.

Beyond the realm of earthly sight,

Where spirits soar in tranquil flight,

In the stillness of the cosmic sea,

Resides the truth that sets us free.

So let us journey inward, deep,

Where love's eternal flame we keep,

In the sanctuary of our soul's embrace,

We find the serenity of grace.

MAJA MILOJKOVIĆ

MAJA MILOJKOVIĆ was born in 1975 in Zaječar, Serbia. She lives and works in Denmark. Profession -Laboratory assistant, painter and reviewer.  An internationally recognized poet who advocates for peace in the world. As a poet, she is represented in numerous domestic and foreign literary newspapers, anthologies and electronic media, and some of her poems can be found on YouTube. Author of two books of poems: "Moon Circle", "Trees of Desire" She is a member of the International Society of Writers and Artists "Mountain Views" in Montenegro, she is also a member of the Poetry Club "Area Felix" in Serbia
