The Voice Of Truth

Be the melodious voice of virtues

Singing love, and chanting to life

Calling for peace in every land

For freedom… for tomorrow, for what is to come

If the nations are cloaked by the nights, 

be the dawn that lights up the darkest times

Summon the sun to revive the spring,

unleashing in the world the fountain of life

For truth is broken, suffering

It fears oppression from the fiercest tyrants

Do not remain humiliated in submission, 

for the purity of the soul shines through virtues

So, rise, be the radiance, be the brilliance, 

for in your eyes lies the splendor of dreams

If they bind your hopes, 

liberate them with the recitation of prayers

We will live on the wings of dreams

Driven by the winds of the walkers of paths

And if the times of calamities betray you

Be a voice that calls for resilience.

In The Shadow Of War

In the shadow of a wound that cannot heal,

The homeland weeps, and dreams sob in despair.

A house, a martyr of childhood once hoped for,

Days have died on its doorsteps.

The sound of explosions, muffled in the hearts,

And the earth’s silence is wept by orphans.

Under the rubble, dolls cry in their sorrow,

A child calls out: "Where are my dreams?"

And hunger runs through the veins like fire,

Melting hearts and dreams alike.

Is there a trace left of his smiling face,

Or has the spirit of joy betrayed us?

O death, in your presence we become,

Weeping and pleading, with tears so bitter.

Is there a way to restore our paradise,

Or has the night of sorrow in us become eternal?

O Lebanon 

We will protect you, Lebanon, from all harm, 

Even if the night of sorrow 

And guerilla warfare stretches long.

Your mountains are a refuge for the rebels, 

And in your plains, 

The hunters have forged a guide.

We stand tall, 

Resisting the darkness within you, 

Living boldly in the face of enemies.

We will sacrifice 

Until the sun weeps for you, 

Enduring nobly in your cause.

We shall remain loyal, 

O my country, 

Writing a beautiful and clear loyalty.

If enemies rally against us, 

We find the path of pride to follow.

In you, there is grandeur, in you, 

There is life, and your memory 

Has become a guide in our hearts.

No... We shall not fear the darkness, 

For within us are men 

Who see the enemy as an intruder.

We will continue to guard 

Your borders for your sake, 

Wiping away the hateful, vile afflictions.

When the trials of time spread far and wide, 

We will fight on the path, 

Generation after generation.

We see resilience as an honor in your hills, 

Forging a noble vow from our wounds.

And in every wound, 

We will live with resilience, 

Planting the impossible in our land.

We will sacrifice for you, 

My homeland, with our blood, 

Until the morning becomes beautiful.
