A Torched History
Sweet stories,
cherished memories
Chapters of life
blown apart
Torn, burnt and
disintegrated
Up in flames
within one’s mind
People's want,
lies and deceitful actions
The kindling
that fueled the flames
Never taking the
responsibility for their actions
They deflect all
the trauma and blame
Make you feel
all the shame
Now starting
afresh
Relearning and
healing
Writing my own
stories and chapters of truth
Building a
library of liberation
In which I can
recover and recoup.

Admittance
Sometimes, the
pen knows
What the soul
can't admit
Let's the truth
spill forth
Bit by bit
Baring all the
agonies,
Exposing all the
pains
Slaying all the
demons
Within ink
ingrained stains
Exposing it all
upon paper
Thus, purging
the soul
Evolving in
strength
Renewed in a
goal.

Life has shown
me the answers
The true colour
of many a person
The words never
met by their actions
False
perceptions and facades always slip
Trust and
interaction withers
Boundaries come
into play
Getting a grip
on my interaction
Not a game I’m
willing to play.
