Spring is gone

And there is rain all around

Earth is draped with dark clouds

and falls with sizzling sound

 

heart is not yet changed

it is filled with hate and crime

sound of bombs pierces through

the still air, it is a difficult time

 

blood is being washed away

by the rain to the silent seas

prayer is not being heard by Him

Being drifted away by the breeze

 

Please stop this mayhem

Let people live in love and peace

Greed has groped human hearts

And earth is paying a heavy price

 

We Lay Side By Side

 

We lay side by side in the night

Under the stars and the moon

We think of a world free drom war

When in the breeze the trees swoon

 

We talk about love and peace

When the clouds to the peaks kiss

And we feel the pang in the hearts

As afar dark smokes rises with a hiss

 

We lay side by side waiting

For a sombre dawn to break in the sky

We hope our child will see the golden

Days when this bad time passed by
