The Symphony Of The River Tide
My dreamy eyes
surf upon the river,
Where blue tides
slide over one another.
The river serves
as the mirror of nature,
And nature
reflects a higher supernatural order.
The riverside
plays a grand symphony,
While the river
tide hums a gentle rhapsody.
Ceiling and
floor are painted in two hues,
Both bottom and
top drenched in deep blues.
Swallows fly
over the ancient caves,
Tiny fish leap
out from the waves.
Dreamy words
emerge from the river,
As realities
appear on the flat mirror.
An opaque blue
sky, a transparent river,
White
cloud-brides in the sky, pebbles in the water.
Ballads are sung
by water splashing on rocks,
Boats sail past
like swift, gliding ducks.
Watermelons are
dipped in the chilly water,
Cooling
themselves in the hot summer weather.
The words inside
me float on the tides,
Fish swallow
down my poetic baits.
A quiet little
mermaid, with her big, keen eyes,
Gazes from the
distant sunset, back at the sunrise.

Nature's Symphony
Sitting in calm,
in nature's deep core,
Eyeing the
colors that creatures wore.
Morning dew
dreams on a field of rose,
A marvelous
green haze where the wind blows.
Full of the pure
smell of mud and clovers,
Full of the fine
scent of buds and flowers.
A flock of
ducklings on green country roads,
A choir of frogs
with a chorus of toads.
Herds of cows
and sheep walking around,
Grazing on grass
with a low "moo" sound.
Murmurs of tiny
fish down in the river,
Whispering
breezes that make leaves shiver.
A blazing ball
in a feverish red,
Spreading a
blanket of light on its blue bed.
Sunrise hues
over the fruitful dates,
While love songs
echo from avian mates.
The shepherds
gather their wandering sheep,
As crickets
start chirping with peep, peep, peep.
The village
children are flying their kites,
The old men are
smoking their hookahs and pipes.
Where earth and
heaven meet at the horizon,
A woman bakes
bread in a clay oven.
The smell of
fresh smoke is spread through the air,
She bakes in a
season so lovely and fair—
Unforgettable,
this earthly heaven!

Children's rights
My golden sun of
childhood never rose,
Its warmth never
reached the cosmos.
Only a doll
would wipe my sorrowful tears,
The only beloved
among all my dears.
Only she could
speak of my passions,
Of my true
rights and hidden emotions.
World! Who saw
my childhood's hidden sorrow,
When my tearful
face pressed into the pillow? World!
Who could see my
childhood on the global stage,
Except for my
speechless, kind cloth doll in her cage?
My sunflower of
childhood never grew,
The spinning top
of my fate never flew.
I dreamed of a
whimsical balloon at night,
Playing with
stars and white birds in flight,
Chasing the joy
under warm sunbeams.
Now, I long for
those lost childhood dreams.
My orphaned
heart needs a mother’s lap,
A father’s warm
smile to bridge the gap.
A high education
is my absolute right,
To play in deep
peace, far from any fight.
World! Give me
the chance to go to school,
The right to
live by childhood’s true rule.
World! Rock me
to sleep in your kind cradle,
Sing me to hope
with a motherly carol.
I want to be a
child of this wide world,
Where peace and
children's rights are unfurled.

The Moon In Gloom
Oh, cloudy eyes!
Oh,
starry nights!
Pitter-patter, pitter-patter,
Shed tears for
the death of the moon!
Little cameras
on roofs to see the bride,
A Pegasus ride
on the night tide.
Twilights
waiting for the moonlight,
All eyes stare
at the bride, white in the night,
Reciting its
beauties,
Playing its
melodies.
A train takes
the moon to the city of wishes,
The train passes
through dreamy mountains.
The moon cheers
from the window of the sky train,
Stars applaud
the moon's ride in heaven.
The silvery moon
shines every night,
No one gets lost
in the moonlight.
The moon, the
light of the poor hut,
The moon, the
balloon of the poor child,
The moon,
through which the velvet heaven is seen,
The moon, the
pretty bride of the night,
The moon, the
ballerina of the night,
The moon, the
palette of the artistic night,
The moon is the
lantern of the night.
The moon listens
to the sorrow inside,
The moon, a
sonnet in the quiet night,
The moon, the
ring of a pure love.
Black nights
covered the beams of moonlight,
The smiling moon
forgot how to laugh,
The swan of the
night sky is caged in the dark lake,
The dark cosmos
swallowed the pearl of night.
Oh, cloudy eyes!
Oh, starry nights!
Pitter-patter,
pitter-patter,
Shed tears for
the death of the moon!

Forest Of Stars
Passing through
endless forests on starry nights,
Like the shining
moon of the sky in the dark nights.
Dim lanterns
hanging from dark green heights,
Green lanterns
hanging from tall trees of the night.
How sweet it is
to wait for dawn in long nights,
How sweet it is
to fly among the petals.
How sweet it is
to see the bright Canopus,
How sweet it is
to wait for the rising sun's rays.
How sweet it is
to worship within the jungles,
How sweet it is
to walk through the woods of stars.
Does everyone
know well the address of the home stars?
Does everyone
cross the same path through the trees of stars?
All know the
green velvet carpet of God's nights,
Can everyone
cross the forest of stars on dark roads at night?
Now, the earth
is full of pale, dead autumn leaves,
Every night,
countless stars fall upon the fields.
Someday, those
glittering stars twinkled toward us,
Now, you and I
are among the new twinkling stars.
