LUISA CAMERE QUIROZ

My Cosmic Embroidery

May my hands radiate blessed light!

May they, from the rising star this night,

stitch by stitch, be the goldsmiths of the Universe.

Every gleam that the thread ignites

with celestial radiance is imprinted

on the cosmic canvas of resplendent beauty.

My hands, you see them, intertwine, they glide

through swirling galaxies, dancing alone to the rhythm

of a music of subtle lace.

Among constellations, they recreate a spatial ballet.

They weave tapestries with threads of sun, with moonlight.

They are first fruits that enchant and captivate.

They are comets tracing a subtle brocade in the blue.

It is a spark of fine filaments, stardust.

A canvas of odes that my psyche imprints with every stroke.

It is my expanding orb, the supreme value of the cosmos

that transforms life into art and with a divine sigh

eternalizes the genuine destiny of my hands

weaving my silent essence.

Describing loves, painting passions,

traversing seven heavens, enveloping infinite spaces

and cosmic sensations.

They are diamond-like love stories,

paths of light and shadows with sidereal echoes,

galactic threads of my bleeding poetry.

It is the universal echo of lived stories that I do not silence.

They are the guiding thread to an infinite embroidery,

winding my reality into silver filigree.

Uniting with fine knots my will,

my sweet journey, my immaterial gift

without end.

On The Threshold Or The Abyss?

I wonder... will that day ever come?

A world where empathy and tolerance reign,

or is it just a dream drifting away?

Are we standing at the threshold of a new light,

or are we lost in the cataclysm of our own making?

These words—Empathy and Tolerance—

seem to be losing their meaning, their witness,

fading in a world without consensus,

dissolving where no agreements can be found.

Where is this hostile path leading us?

In a land where the heart has grown cold.

I do not ask for much,

yet I ask for everything:

I want Peace.

I want Love.

I want Respect.

That is my only solution.

The only foundation

upon which a human world can stand.
